Why should I choose Body Fusion over a gym?
Body Fusion takes a systematic approach to wellness, incorporating body and mind elements into classes and addressing the needs of healthy clients as well as clients suffering from injury or pain. This approach allows clients to transition smoothly from physical therapy into body conditioning classes.
At Body Fusion you will receive personalized attention throughout your training. Small class sizes and private sessions ensure that each individual's unique needs will be met.

Who can benefit from these techniques?
Men and women of all ages can benefit from fitness classes at Body Fusion! In our sedentary culture, doctors are recommending exercise to nearly everyone. Check with your doctor if you have questions about your ability to begin a fitness program.
|
What should I wear to class?
Wear clothing in which you are comfortable moving, that will allow you to breathe, bend and stretch. Do not wear anything too loose or bulky as it hinders the instructors ability to visually analyze body placement. Exercises can be performed either barefoot or in stockings.

What is the difference between Gyrotonic and Pilates?
Juliu Horvath, Gyrotonic creator, developed GyroKinesis which embraces some of the key principles also found in Yoga, Gymnastics and Dance. It is also a wonderful form of exercise, which has assisted many people in achieving their goals. Body Fusion is not currently offering the Pilates method of exercise. If you are interested in Pilates training please contact certified instructor Anne Thomasson, at 314-409-0229.

I'm Pregnant. Can I do Gyrotonic or Gyrokinesis?
If you began your Gyrotonic training before the first trimester, exercise can be very beneficial to your pregnancy. Gyrokinesis is one of the most advantageous forms of post-pregnancy exercise, because of its focus on core control, and the muscles of the abdomen, back and gluteus. Contact us for more information. As with any exercise program, and especially when pregnancy is concerned, please discuss any interest in establishing an exercise program with your doctor first!
